Caught orally abusing a patient, Male Dentist indicted on 14 charges of sexual abuse

A Dentist practicing in Washington, DC, has been indicted for sexually abusing male patients while they were anesthetized with nitrous oxide (laughing gas). According to reports, the dentist, Bilal Ahmed, 44, was indicted this week. A spokesman for the D.C. Superior Court said the charges include 14 felony counts of sexual abuse.

In May 2014, Ahmed performed dental work on a patient who had chipped a tooth at Universal Smiles DC, and administered nitrous oxide to him through a face mask. When the mask came off, the patient reportedly found Ahmed forcing him to perform oral sex.

The patient reported the incident to police, who tracked down two other male patients who claimed they were sexually assaulted by Ahmed, in addition to one of Ahmed’s own employees who said he was inappropriately touched.

Ahmed’s dental licenses in Washington and Maryland have since been suspended.
