After a crucial meeting with some of the observers of the INEC approved NGOs who paid him a courtesy visit at the NYCN Southeast Secretariat in Awka, Anambra State.

In few hours from now the Anambra Gubernatorial election will be conducted, may I express the deepest concern of the youths of the state and southeast about the forthcoming election and convey it to the stables of Independent National Electoral Commission and All the Security Agencies.

I urge INEC to discharge their constitutional duty without bias and compromise from any quarter, they must avoid playing to the gallery in favour of any particular political party to truncate, jeopardise and sabotage the interest of the Youths.

INEC under the Leadership of Prof Mahmood Yakubu, must conduct Free, Fair and Credible election in Anambra state to restore the hope of all Nigerians back to the commission.

On this note, may I categorically state clearly that the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Southeast zone will keep an eagles watch on the election.

No form of Intimidation will be entertained from any security agency, they must discharge their duty as stipulated in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, anything in the contrary will provoke the youths and this may lead to National anarchy. The police must be meters away from the Polling Unit and must not be seen with Arms to avoid voters apathy and disenfranchisement.

Finally we therefore encourage the youths of Anambra and Anambrarians in general to go out and vote, exercise your constitutional right without fear of intimidation as we have already reach with the security agencies and they have assured to work with civility and decorum.

Report back to us if you observe any form of electoral misconduct in your polling unit immediately.

Build the Youth, Build the Nation

God Bless South-East Youths.
