Students have been injured in an air strike around a university campus in Mekelle – the capital of Ethiopia’s Tigray region, the regional government’s television station is reporting.

Residents told the BBC that another air strike hit an airport, where people were also injured.

The Ethiopia military has not yet commented.

Federal forces launched an offensive on 4 November to oust the regional government, led by the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF).
